Yolizul Fluorescentes - Yellow

If you're from Croatia you've probably heard of this brand even though it's Spanish (? I think) because you can get it in Offertissima, a store that sells cheap stuff and can be found in every larger town in Croatia. This product is also cheap (1$!), but you can't tell it by its quality.

They change their range of colors every now and then (sort of collections) and as soon as I saw this one I fell in love. Now I'm banging my head for not buying all four colors (all true neons: yellow, orange, pink and green), but I wanted to try their quality first.

Even though it says Fluorescentes, it is really a neon polish. It acquires 4 coats and there is still visible nail line, but I must say that it took me less than 20 mins for all four coats because this thing dries superfast!

But next time I'll be applying it over white or butter color just to see it's full opacity.
SInce my nails are finally long enough I don't hate visible nail line this time :)
Finish is something between matte and plastic, I don't know how else to describe it. Here it is with top coat because I preffer glossy.

  1. Yep, Yolizul is/was a Spanish brand. It used to be sold at 1€ stores together with CarlodiRoma -recently out of business-. I haven't seen any of these for quite some time, having been replaced by Asian brands like Ivsty and Yes Love, as most of these stores are now Asian-owned/run.

  4. @marox7: too bad they aren't sold there anymore, because their quality is much better than I would expect from these cheap brands, and I'm not sure those other brands you mentioned are as good.

  5. Jako su lijepi! I boja i noktići i lak i sve :)
Reci, jel ostavljaju žuti trag na noktima kad skineš lak? Obožavam žute i sl. lakove, ali me plaši da će mi ostati žuti :(

  6. Joj, ne znam, nisam ga još skinula. Ali mislim da ne bi trebao ako koristiš podlak. Meni nijedan žuti ne ostavlja boju s podlakom, a imam ih 4-5

  7. @Stickers: Maybe they're still available in other cities or other stores, Idk. I have a couple of Ivsty polishes and they're nice. Yes Love has many fans around here, though you don't know what you're gonna get because they have no info regarding finish on the label, i.e. matte, etc. I haven't tried any of those yet, but if I see one that seems special, who knows.

  9. In conclusion: high price does not guarantee you'll get an excellent polish, right? You can get great cheap polishes everywhere!

  10. I LOVE neon nailpolish! The Yolizul looks great! Because most of the neons are very sheer, I always use a white basecolor underneath the neon color (and then I get good results with two or three coats of the neon polish).

I'd like to buy this polish but Yozuli is not available in Germany. :(

  11. @Ninea: they are very cheap here, if you'd like I can buy a few of them for you, and you can buy me some German cheaper brand (I know p2 has some great colors) that are not available here!
A small swap, what do you say?
